FAQs
Fullerton Council of PTAs offers graduating high school seniors scholarships to acknowledge their achievements for volunteer service in the school and community.
QUALIFICATIONS
This scholarship recognizes volunteer service in the school and community and does not have a grade point average restriction or requirement.
Applicant must be
Graduating senior from Buena Park, Fullerton Union, Sunny Hills, or Troy High School;
enrolling in an accredited college, university or trade school for the Fall semester following graduation;
a member of their school PTSA in good standing within the Fullerton Council of PTAs.
Must be a PTSA member by December 31, 2024
The application must be received by the Scholarship Committee by 11:59 PM PDT March 31. Please Note: Application will not be considered if received after the due date or if any of the required materials are missing.
Instructions for applying In the google form:
a legible copy of applicant’s current PTSA membership card
an essay or paragraphs describing
any PTA/PTSA volunteer experience ;
your career plans, goals, objective and any other information you feel would be valuable to the selection committee;
all school service-related activities;
including any service you provide to others in your school; without using abbreviations for any organizations listed;
your volunteer service in the community outside of school;
3. Two reference letters;
Please note reference letters must be written specifically for this scholarship application;
First reference letter completed by a community volunteer leader with whom student applicant has served (may not be related to student) and includes type of service completed;
